Cali teen takes plea for multiple LHC crimes

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A high school senior from Victorville, California has entered a no jail, probation-guaranteed plea agreement for separate crimes committed in Lake Havasu City.

Logan Hartwick, 18, pleaded guilty to three counts of endangerment for an alcohol-involved single vehicle rollover in the 4200 block of Bison Boulevard on Dec. 27, 2025.

Hartwick was driving a high-performance Ford Raptor that rolled into a ravine after leaving a dirt road in rough terrain. Asked about a report that he was speeding up to 50 miles per hour at the time of the wreck, Hartwick responded that he was traveling at no more than 35 miles per hour and that “off-roading” is inherently dangerous.

“I did not intend to hurt my buddies,” Hartwick said, of his three friends who suffered minor injuries. Driving while under the influence and other charges are dismissed in the plea deal.

Hartwick also pleaded guilty to a theft charge. Prosecutor Phillip Delgado said the defendant and an accomplice used bolt cutters to free and steal an electric bike that was parked at a McCulloch Boulevard restaurant on Jan. 13.

Judge Billy Sipe scheduled an April 17 sentencing hearing.
