The wait is finally over! Canyon View Dental Care is opening its doors to the public in March 2025. Located adjacent to Target with 4,100 square feet of space, 12 state of the art dental operatories, and a spacious waiting room. Canyon View plans to change what it feels like to go to the dentist. Gone are the days of uncomfortable doctor visits and here to stay is the feel of luxury and well-being.
Canyon View Dental Care is made up of a team of 15 highly skilled dental experts. The team is a combination of the formerly known BullheadCityDentist.Com and Thunder Mountain Dentistry Offices. These 2 offices have been serving the Mohave County Community for 18 years respectively. Now they will bring their entire team of 2 dentists, 4 hygienists, 11 staff members and all existing patients to the gorgeous new location to allow for an even more specialized patient experience. New patients are always accepted at the new office. The new patient special at Canyon View is $79 and includes all necessary x-rays, an exam with one of the doctors and, based on diagnosis, a simple cleaning. More involved periodontal scaling and root planing is not covered by the special.
Canyon View Dental Care will accept the same insurances that BullheadCityDentist.Com and Thunder Mountain Dentistry previously accepted including Medicare Advantage plans, benefits through Veterans Affairs (VA) and many more insurance plans. Financing options like CareCredit are also available at the office. A quick call to the office can confirm if your plan is accepted.
When entering the new office, patients will be greeted by our friendly front desk staff. After checking in, have a seat in our living room style waiting room and have a coffee or water. When it’s time for the appointment, our hygienists or dental assistants will greet you and bring you back either to the patient rooms or to the x-ray areas. All new patients will receive a full set of x-rays, a thorough review of health history, and a periodontal evaluation to determine which type of cleaning is recommended by the doctor. In addition, Canyon View utilizes state of the art 3D iTero scanners to take photos of all the teeth and gums. This allows the doctors to evaluate how the bite fits together, whether orthodontic treatment is recommended, and how much wear occurs on the teeth over time. All patients will also receive a thorough oral cancer screening to detect any early abnormalities. The team at Canyon View strives to be able to complete treatment the same day patients come to the office for the first time. However, some longer procedures may need to be scheduled for a later date.
