BULLHEAD CITY — A Bullhead City woman sustained fatal injuries in a September 3 motorcycle accident. Bullhead City police responded at 9:30 a.m. to a private parking lot in the 900 block of Hancock Road.

“The rider, 53-year-old Andrea Johnston of Bullhead City, reportedly lost control of her newly-purchased Harley Davidson, while attempting a U-turn,” said Emily Fromelt, public information officer for the police department. “The motorcycle went down a small ravine and struck a brick wall.”

Johnston was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center where she reportedly succumbed to her injuries. Fromelt said Johnston was wearing a helmet, and that family members indicated that she was an experienced rider who was familiarizing herself with the new motorcycle. Investigation continues.
