Dear Editor,
Bullhead City’s Planning & Zoning Commission is holding a public hearing to consider a plan to rezone a large industrial parcel near Laughlin Ranch but has not explained to the public who owns the parcel or the intended use. They also have data center issues on the agenda after the vote is taken, raising questions about transparency. Residents are calling on the council to table or delay the vote until all questions are answered.
When: Thursday, September 17, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Where: Bullhead City Council Chambers, Bullhead City
Why: Residents say the council has not provided basic information the public needs before a vote of this magnitude proceeds, including who owns the land, the purpose of the rezoning, and whether it involves a data center. Residents want the City Council to table or postpone the rezoning vote until all resident questions are answered.
How: Residents are encouraged to sign up here, attend the September 17 meeting, and sign up to speak during public comment portion of the meeting. Residents should bring neighbors and family to fill the room and send a clear message that this is an important issue that needs be be brought into the light. Residents are encouraged to arrive early as seating may be limited.
