Bullhead man arrested following video showing he abused toddler

BULLHEAD CITY — A suspicious mom positioned her cell phone to capture video of her boyfriend harming her 2-year-old daughter, when she was out of the room. That’s what Bullhead City police report led to the Feb. 24 arrest of Ora Carson, 25.

Carson was taken into custody for child abuse and aggravated assault charges after police reviewed the cell phone footage provided by the victim’s mother.

“The video reportedly showed Carson striking the child multiple times in the head,” said police department public information officer Emily Fromelt. “Officers observed multiple bruises and other injuries on the child consistent with physical abuse.”

The child was taken to a local hospital before she was transported to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for further medical evaluation.

Carson was transported to Kingman and booked into the Adult Detention Facility. Fromelt said case investigation continues.
