BULLHEAD CITY – With the likelihood that some level of COVID-19 restrictions impacting schools will remain in place through the summer, the Bullhead City Elementary School District is asking parents and guardians to share opinions about options for the new school year, which is scheduled to start July 29. The online survey is on the District website, www.crsk12.org, where it is available in English and Spanish. The direct link is at

“Our teachers have been planning for instruction, and our administrators have begun planning the reopening of school buildings,” said Superintendent Carolyn Stewart. “Even though Gov. Ducey has rescinded the executive orders that closed schools and businesses, his new executive order continues guidelines for schools regarding physical distancing, group and classroom sizes, the use of protection devices, and other practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”
Dr. Stewart said that despite cleaning, sanitizing and freshening campuses, some traditions may be on hold and many new requirements will be in place to keep students, staff and faculty safe when school resumes.
The survey should take less than five minutes to complete. Information will be used by the District’s leadership team to finalize different scenarios, which will be presented to the BCESD governing board.
