Bullhead City to distribute sandbags October 18 following recent storms

Rain

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – Following recent heavy rainfall and continued storm cleanup efforts, the City of Bullhead City will provide sand and sandbags to residents on Sunday, October 18, during the Residential Household Clean-Up Day at Gary Keith Park.

Sandbags will be available from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gary Keith Park, 2295 Hoppas Dr. Electronic recycling and residential bulk-item disposal will also be available at that location during the event.

Residents are encouraged to take only the number of sandbags they reasonably need so supplies remain available to others.

Public Works crews continue working throughout Bullhead City to clear streets and address remaining impacts from the recent storms. As cleanup efforts continue, the City remains focused on helping residents prepare for additional rainfall and responding to the community’s needs as conditions develop.
