
Bullhead City Police Lieutenant Nick Sessions, who died after a prolonged fight against COVID-19 on August 6, 2021, will be remembered by the Bullhead City Police Department and greater public safety community with an honors funeral service next week.
The funeral service for Lt. Nick Sessions will be held on Thursday, August 19th at 10 a.m. MST at the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse, 3663 Bullhead Parkway, in Bullhead City. A police procession will commence prior to the funeral service.
Lt. Sessions served in the United States Army and was a police officer for the LaVerne, CA Police Department before joining the Bullhead City Police Department in 1999. Among his many involvements and accomplishments during his 22 years with the Bullhead City Police Department, he served as SWAT team leader, Tactical Commander, Supervisor of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, School Resource Officer, Lead Firearms Instructor, Range Master, as well as working in the traffic and narcotics sections. Lt. Sessions was 54 years old and is survived by his wife, Jessica, and son, Aaron.
The funeral service will be open to the public. Doors will open at 9 a.m. There will be seating arrangements sectioned off for the family, public safety personnel and media.
The escorted police procession route will be from Desert Lawn Funeral Home, west on Silver Creek Road, and south along Highway 95 to the Fieldhouse. The procession is for police vehicles only.
