Bullhead City police give tips to stop vehicle burglary

The Bullhead City Police Department has seen an increase in vehicle burglaries. Many of these victims left their vehicle unlocked or a window rolled down. This is an easy target for criminals. A professional can steal your vehicle in just under 30 seconds. Please, always lock your vehicle and hide or take your valuables with you.

Here are some vehicle burglary prevention tips from the Bullhead City Police Department:

Always lock your doors and roll up your windows. Do not leave money or valuables in your car, especially in plain view. Do not leave your keys in your car.   Do not leave your garage door remote inside your vehicle if it’s parked in your driveway. If it is stolen, change the remote frequency. Park your vehicle in well-lit areas. Consider an alarm system.
