Bullhead City named one of the top 15 RV destinations in the nation

BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead City has earned national recognition, ranked among the top 15 RV destinations in the United States by StorageCafe. The honor highlights the community’s recreation opportunities, RV-friendly amenities, and natural beauty that locals are proud to call home.

With sixteen RV parks offering comforts like electricity, water, sewers, showers, Wi-Fi, and cable, visitors enjoy convenience alongside desert charm. Many parks are also pet-friendly, with on-site laundry and propane service. Bullhead City’s clean air and starlit skies also helped earn this national ranking.

“Being named one of the top RV destinations in the country really highlights what makes Bullhead City so special. From the river to the desert, it’s a beautiful place to visit and an even better place to stay,” said Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter.

Bullhead City’s unique location offers access to the Colorado River and Lake Mohave for year-round boating, fishing, kayaking, and scuba diving. Nearby, the Spirit Mountain Wilderness in Lake Mead National Recreation Area offers dramatic desert peaks and ancient petroglyphs. At Mohave County’s Davis Camp Park, visitors enjoy sandy beaches, shaded picnic areas, and a full-service RV campground right on the river. At Lake Mohave’s Katherine Landing, travelers can stay steps away from the water at the scenic RV park.

Located just 90 miles south of Las Vegas, the desert landscape surrounding Bullhead City boasts rugged trails perfect for ATVs, jeeps, and side-by-sides. Within Bullhead City, our parks feature top-tier recreational facilities including sports fields, pickleball courts, disc golf, boat ramps, shaded ramadas, skate parks, and dog areas. Just across the river, Laughlin, Nevada, offers world-class dining and shopping, making Bullhead City a hub where outdoor adventure meets modern comfort.

This ranking is a reflection of the pride our community takes in protecting our natural beauty, expanding recreation, and making Bullhead City a welcoming place for visitors and residents alike.
