Bullhead City hosts recycle/shred day

The City of Bullhead City in sponsorship with Mohave Shred and Nevada State Recycling will be hosting a residential household e-waste and shred day on Saturday, May 18. Residents from Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Laughlin and surrounding areas are invited to join Bullhead City residents for a day of recycling and disposing of electronic items and document shredding in a safe manner. This one-day event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Bullhead City Government Complex parking lot located at 1255 Marina Blvd.

Mohave Shred will be shredding your recyclable papers for a nominal fee of $5 per box. This is the secure way to shred your confidential documents. All proceeds from this event will benefit the development of Gary Keith Park.

Approved items for Recycle: Appliances, audio and video tapes, cell phones, fax machines, copiers, printers, laptop and notebook computers, speakers, modems and routers, VCR players, televisions, LCD and plasma screens, wires and connectors.

Do not bring: household batteries, oil, liquids, medical waste, hazardous work materials.

For more information on City approved recycling products, contact Anthony Kozlowski at 928-763-0122, ext. 299.
