Bullhead City Council Candidate Nomination Packets now available for 2026 Election

BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead City will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, for the purpose of electing two (2) Council Members and one (1) Mayor to fill four-year terms, and one (1) two-year Council Member term. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to fill any elected offices that remain unfilled after the Primary Election. 

Mayor Head, Vice Mayor Dan Alfonzo, and Council Member Tami Ring are currently serving four-year terms that expire in November 2026. Pamela Smith is currently serving a two-year term that expires in November 2026.

Interested candidates can find more information on running for local office, compliance requirements, and election filings by reviewing the pamphlet entitled “2026 Election Information for Candidates” from www.bullheadcityaz.gov, under “Leadership and Government,” “Elections.” Paper copies of this document will also be available at City Hall.
