Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes new Executive Director

BULLHEAD CITY – For the past few months, the Chamber of Commerce has been operating under the direction of our Interim Executive Director, John Hassett, as Board members worked through applications to find a new, permanent Executive Director.

Starting August 30, Bo Hellams will take place as the Executive Director for the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hellams brings quality work experience, education, and an excited attitude that the Chamber has been in search for.

Mr. Hellams received an undergraduate degree in Parks and Recreation focusing on Outdoor Leadership with a Minor in Business Administration from Humboldt State University and a master’s in public administration from Lindenwood University. Hellams is passionate about a life outdoors. Whether it be on the river, in the desert, or high in the mountains, Mr. Hellams and his family are sure to be out exploring on the weekends.

“My family and I have now been in Bullhead City for two years. We have come to love the river, explore the deserts, and grow our own family in this community. It is my goal to continue to develop the Chamber, and this community, into something we are all proud of. My door will always be open for concerns and answers for those that acquire” says Bo Hellams.

Get to know Mr. Hellams more by stopping in at the Chamber office located at Bullhead City’s popular Community Park off of HWY 95. We look forward to seeing what Mr. Hellams can accomplish during his time in this position, and we plan on taking the Chamber of Commerce to new heights with an enthusiastic Executive Director.
