Bridge Deck Maintenance Starting June 8

KINGMAN – A project on the Hualapai Mountain Road bridge decks will begin Monday, June 8, and continue through June 26, 2020. The city will be completing concrete deck maintenance and joint seals. During this time, Hualapai Mountain Rd. will be restricted to one lane in each direction. The traffic control will remain in place throughout the duration of the project. The city is completing preventative maintenance to extend the life of the decks.

The city would like to alert the motoring public that there may be a period where it may appear like there is no work being performed, yet the traffic control is still in place; the treatments need time to cure before opening to traffic. The city also asks the traveling public to use caution when driving near and around work zones.

  1. Awesome, responsibility lies with us. Dominion over the whole earth requires maintenance.❤
