Bomb threat at middle school brings one arrest

KINGMAN – Kingman police say they don’t know why a local man targeted the Middle School on Detroit Avenue with Monday morning bomb threats. An investigation of the threatening calls at 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. led to the arrest of Manuel Molines.

No explosives or suspicious devices were located on the school grounds.

The 39-year-old with an extensive local criminal history was jailed for making terroristic threats and interference with an educational facility. Officials said Molines does not have children enrolled in the Kingman Unified School District and investigators are trying to determine his motivation.
