Big Sandy Shoot slated

KINGMAN – The next Big Sandy Shoot will be held Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21. The Big Sandy Shoot is a twice-a-year, weekend of friends, targets and gear in Arizona’s high, western desert. With a quarter-mile-long firing range, populated by hundreds of shooters, the Big Sandy Shoot is the largest machine gun shoot in the U.S. This NFA shooting range will test you, your weapon and your sights. Held in northwestern Arizona, outside of Kingman, and approximately 10 miles northeast of the town Wikieup, you can get some distance on your targets.

Shooters: $400, spectators: $50 at the gate, and vendors: $175. There will be a mandatory Friday shooters meeting at 11:15 a.m. Shooting will be from noon to 4 p.m. There will be a mandatory Saturday shooters meeting at 8:30 a.m. Shooting is from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. There will a Friday and Saturday night shoot from dark to 9 p.m. both days. The Shoot will be held on the Big Sandy Range, 12000 Back Rd., Kingman.
