BHC candidates facing court challenges

BULLHEAD CITY – Four Bullhead City council hopefuls are facing candidacy challenges in Mohave County Superior Court. Separate legal actions have been submitted that allege they failed to collect enough valid signatures on nominating petitions to qualify for the August-November election cycle.
Those facing candidacy challenge include re-election seeking incumbents Mark Clark, Tami Ring and Kathy Bruck. Prospective candidate Waheed Zehri is also facing challenge.
The lawsuits are being scheduled for hearings next week before Judge Lee Jantzen.
