Beale Street Theater prepares for busy holiday calendar

KINGMAN — Beale Street Theater will be hosting several events over the next few weeks. 

November 21: Dry Heat 

Dry Heat is an award-winning band with live performances at venues in and around the Tri-State area. They will be playing on Friday from 7–9 p.m. Cost is $15 per ticket. 

November 22: Beale Street Youth Concert Band 

Beale Street Youth Concert Band features young musicians who have prepared four music pieces. The band is led by student conductor and director Damien Valdez. Songs include “Solidarity” by William Owens, “The Great Locomotive Chase” by Robert Smith, “From the Start” arranged by Michael Kamuf, and “Arabian Dances” by Roland Barrett. The performance will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. Prices for adults range from $10-$8, teens $8-$7, and kids ages 4–11 $5. Kids 3 and under are free. 

November 26: Django Festival Allstars 

The Django Festival Allstars are riding a new career high, having performed this past year in 18 cities. Bringing music that features melody and beauty of sound and phrasing. Their music emulates The Hot Club and is rooted in the ‘30’s but they go their own way with original compositions, celebrating not only Django and Grappelli but Manouche and “gypsy jazz”. They will be performing on Wednesday from 7–9 p.m. Tickets are $35, $25 and $15.
