BCSD launches online parental engagement survey

BULLHEAD CITY — The Bullhead City School District has opened its semiannual fall survey for parents and guardians to help improve relationships between families and schools.  Surveys are anonymous, and no personally identifying information can be tracked or maintained.

Designed by Panorama Education, the survey is designed to help educators use data to improve student outcomes.  It also helps the district find ways to better reach and involve parents and guardians.

BCSD’s survey is online at https://surveys.panoramaed.com/crsk12az/familyfall2025/surveys .

“Students with involved parents are proven to have better academic performance, social and interaction skills and self-confidence, with fewer behavioral and disciplinary issues,” said Jennifer Lott, BCSD’s director of educational services.  “Parental involvement is crucial, not only for students, but for their schools’ entire education team.”

It takes less than three minutes to complete the 33-question multiple choice survey.  Topics include parents’ perceptions of school, engagement and communication barriers, and general background questions.  Parents with students in more than one BCSD school have the option to complete more than one survey, which will close on October 24.   Results will be presented to the public during an upcoming BCSD governing board meeting.

Survey costs are covered by a grant and do not come out of BCSD’s local operating budget.  Parent surveys are normally conducted semi-annually – once in the fall and once in the spring.v
