BCSD holds surplus sale

BULLHEAD CITY – Hundreds of items will again be available to the public when the Bullhead City School District hold its first surplus sale of the new school year. Many items start at just $1.

Dates are Nov. 20 and 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The sale will be held at 1004 Hancock Rd., Bldg 400, between the District Office and Coyote Canyon School, just west of Bullhead City Middle School. Parking is available on the north side of Coyote Canyon off of either Hancock or Lakeside Dr.

Everything will be sold as-is, and nothing can be held. Certain items are outdated, and some may not be fully-functioning but can be used for parts. New this year are dozens of operational commercial soap, paper towel and toilet paper dispensers. Two damaged but repairable musical instruments – one clarinet and one upright piano – are also available. Other items on sale include bookshelves, student desks, file cabinets, a salad bar station, student chairs and office supplies. Future sale items will vary. All sales are cash-only and final.

Under state law, proceeds from the sales go into a specific account for comparable replacement items.
