AYSO River Daze Tournament in Town this Weekend

Bullhead City is once again gearing up for another huge soccer tournament this weekend that is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy by bringing approximately 1,000 talented youth soccer players and their families to the community.

The 8th Annual River Daze Tournament is a two day tournament that will be held Saturday, April 13 through Sunday, April 14. The City and AYSO Regions 397 will host over 80 youth soccer teams this year with players from Corona, CA., Riverside, CA., Ontario, CA., and many Arizona communities. The teams will arrive on Friday to register and prepare for the tournament. All games will be held at Rotary Park Soccer Complex at 2315 Balboa Dr.

“We look forward to the significant economic impact of this tournament every year and encourage our businesses to welcome the youth participants and their families with open arms, “City Manager Toby Cotter said. “We appreciate the many long hours our local volunteers put into this fantastic tournament.”

In addition to the large soccer tournament, the 69th Annual Burro BBQ will be taking place at Community Park on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Burro BBQ features great food, live music, bounce house, beer garden, kids play area and a big kid toy area. All of the money raised by the Rotary Club is donated back into the community with large investments in Rotary Park.
