KINGMAN – Kingman Fire Department (KFD) responded to a detached garage fire on Wednesday, April 22 at around 2 a.m. The fire in the 1600 block of Franklin Dr., was fully involved when KFD personnel arrived. There were no occupants inside the detached garage, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The City of Kingman’s Public Works Department will begin chip sealing operations on Friday, April 24, 2026, on Hualapai Mountain Road between Royal Vista Lane and South Schritter Way. Preparation for the chip seal operation will begin on Friday, April 24, with the actual chip seal application to occur on Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28.

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is inviting residents, stakeholders, and interested community members to attend a final workshop as part of the development of the City’s updated Drainage Manual. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall (310 N. Fourth Street).
