Dear Editor, As a concerned citizen of Kingman, I try to keep up with current issues and local news through newspapers, social media, and word of mouth. Kingman is growing and that growth comes with needed change. Change can be viewed from many perspectives and as one of you, I see change like the man on the street sees it. KINGMAN, Ariz. – The Kingman Office of Tourism is hosting an inaugural lighting ceremony for a new neon sign located on Andy Devine Avenue the evening of February 9, 2024. As part of the event, the block of Andy Devine Avenue between 1st Street and 2nd Street will be closed to traffic between 3pm and 9pm. A temporary stop sign will be located just before the closure at 2nd Street, for traffic heading west on Andy Devine Avenue.
