Four-year-old Havasu boy allegedly molested

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Authorities allege a four-year-old Lake Havasu City boy was molested by a teenager who was on Christmas leave from basic training from a U.S. Army base in South Carolina. An investigation began Jan. 1 when the victim’s parents contacted police. Police reports said that Joshua Sword was visiting the victim’s parents when the boy’s father used his fingernail to unlock a bedroom door on Dec. 26, 2018. Adkins receives prison sentence after violating probation conditions

A Bullhead City man was sentenced to prison Wednesday after admitting he committed new crimes constituting violation of his probation for a prior armed robbery conviction. Bradley Richard Adkins, 22, was placed on five year’s probation for his involvement in a March, 2017 home invasion at a residence on Anna Circle. Adkins and co-defendant Cory Edward Cummings, 20, accepted plea agreements for entering the home in an attempt to sell an iPad. Bullhead City Police said Adkins pepper-sprayed the victim when he refused to buy the device, thinking it had been stolen. Police and prosecutors said Cummings stole the victim’s…
