New fee structure for Arizona Recorders

Beginning July 1, 2019, a flat fee for recording documents in the State of Arizona will go into effect pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute §11-475, as amended by the Arizona State Legislature in 2018. The fee to record a document in the Mohave County Recorder’s office and throughout Arizona will become $30.00 per document. Bullhead commits funding action for bridge

A funding commitment action at the June 4 Bullhead City council meeting should kick start a bridge project that’s been stalled for months. Progress on the second bridge proposed to cross the Colorado River to Laughlin came to a halt late last year when some Nevada officials indicated Arizona should pay more for the project. City manager Toby Cotter said Bullhead City and Laughlin are both handling the cost on each side of the river of connecting the transportation network to the bridge. Whybark charged in hit and run incident

A person of interest in a hit and run fatal traffic fatality reportedly confessed his involvement after being arrested on unrelated charges over the weekend. 34-year-old Joseph Whybark was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Center on burglary, prohibited weapons possession and driving on a suspended license. Mohave County Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said detectives responded to the jail to question Whybark about the April 23, 2019 death of Krisandrea Lynn Pannell-Cashen in Golden Valley.
