BOULDER CITY, Nevada – Lake Mead National Recreation Area is calling on all photographers and every social media extraordinaire to showcase their love for Lake Mead and Lake Mohave as part of a 2019 photo contest. The winner will receive a 2020 Lake Mead National Recreation Area annual pass, courtesy of the Lake Mead Circle, the park’s non-profit partner. K-9 Foundation needs assistance, plans events

Most residents believe the Mohave County Sheriff’s K-9 Program is funded by the state and the county, and that can no further from the truth. The K-9 Program receives no funding from the State of Arizona, the county, or the Sheriff’s Office. It operates solely on donations from businesses and concerned citizens. Goc will receive prison time for drug charges

A ten year prison term is mandated in a plea agreement entered for an alleged Bullhead City drug dealer. The deal resolves three methamphetamine cases against Kevin Goc, 51. One case involving a ten gram seizure during a traffic stop is dismissed in the plea agreement that was detailed during a July 8 hearing in Kingman. Goc pleaded guilty in each of the other cases to a reduced charge of attempted possession of dangerous drugs for sale.
