MOHAVE COUNTY- Mohave County Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program provides nutrition assistance to eligible women, infants, and children. WIC provides supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health care and community resources to participants. UniSource Electric is planning a wire pull to replace a section of their circuit parallel to Beale Street and crossing Andy Devine which will require three phases of operations: Tuesday 7/23 – a wire pull between 10th St.  along Beale and ending at the SE corner of 1100 Andy Devine. Mohave County -World Breastfeeding Week occurs every year from August 1st – August 7th to raise awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding. The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action organizes the event, celebrated in 120 countries, which includes the signing of the WHO/UNICEF document, Innocenti Declaration, which lists the benefits of breastfeeding, and outlines global and governmental goals.
