KINGMAN – A Kingman teenager faces a possible lengthy prison sentence after admitting sexual involvement with five young girls, 14 to 17 years of age. Having a driver license doesn’t give people the right to act stupid and to abuse their privilege. When you see a sign that reads, “Do not enter” that means you should obey it. LAKE HAVASU CITY – An estranged husband and wife are the victims of what Lake Havasu City police report to be a murder-suicide. Those found dead inside a residence in the 2900 block of Green Acres Drive last Thursday night are identified as Keri Malkiewicz, 42, and Daniel Malkiewicz, 53. Court records show that Mrs. Malkiewicz petitioned for divorce from her husband in July. The initial police news release said both victims were found on the kitchen floor of the residence. Community volunteers from the First Things First (FTF) Colorado River Indian Tribes Region were honored Sunday at the organization’s statewide early childhood conference. The FTF Colorado River Indian Tribes Regional Partnership Council, made up of local volunteers from the region, received the Eddie Basha Regional Partnership Council Excellence Award for Leadership and Service. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man reportedly fought with officers who escorted him from a courtroom for his unruly behavior last month. The incident occurred August 5 at the Lake Havasu City municipal court on College Drive. A police report said Judge M. Dunbar repeatedly told Travis Ramsey, 24, to quit talking because he was disrupting hearings for traffic offenses. Police said Ramsey’s behavior became increasingly aggressive and disrespectful as Judge Dunbar ruled against him in his court matters.
