American Legion hosts Halloween Paint Day

GOLDEN VALLEY – Let’s have some fun at the American Legion Art Day on Sunday, October 13 at 3 pm. This is a great place to go to and have a great time. They will be making clay sugar skulls and painting them for $20. You will be provided with everything you need to complete your project and take it home with you. Drug dealer gets five-year sentence

KINGMAN – A Lake Havasu City drug dealer was sentenced to a five-year prison term Wednesday. The punishment Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle imposed for Chad Van Allen, 32, was mandated in a plea agreement. Van Allen pleaded guilty to possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale and manufacturing dangerous drugs. Van Allen possessed about 28 grams of methamphetamine when arrested at his place of employment last December, according to Lake Havasu City police.
