Food distribution in BHC March 16

BULLHEAD CITY – Everyone is welcome to come to the free food distribution on Saturday, March 16 at Food for Families, 590 Hancock Rd. The event will begin at 7 a.m. Recipients do not need to show any proof of income, and may pick up for neighbors or families in need. Volunteers are welcome the third Friday of each month from 3 to 6 p.m. to help bag up food, and Saturday morning from 6 to 11 a.m. to help with distribution.

They will have lane restrictions in place East and Westbound at the Andy Devine Avenue and Stockton Hill Road intersection as well as Northbound on Stockton Hill Road at Broadway Avenue, Pico Street, and Arlington Street. Leftover permit-tags remain for 2024 elk hunts

Arizona hunters still have an opportunity to receive a hunt permit-tag for select 2024 elk hunts.  The Arizona Game and Fish Department has posted a list of leftover hunt permit-tags, as well as a printable paper application, on its website. Leftover hunt permit-tags include: 70 — limited opportunity (general) antlerless elk.   3 — archery-only antlerless elk.   3 — archery-only bull elk.
