Ballot tabulation equipment set for Oct. 1 

MOHAVE COUNTY -The County Elections Department wants the qualified electors of Mohave County to know that a Logic and Accuracy test will be conducted of the ballot tabulation equipment and programs for the November 5, General Election. The test will take place on October 1, at 8:20 a.m. by the Arizona Secretary of State. It will be performed by members of the Arizona Secretary of State’s elections staff. Staff members will arrive and run test ballots marked by their office where all candidates and ballot measures received a random number of votes.

Adoption Mentality

As a horticulture enthusiast, when I visit a nursery and buy a plant for my home, I am essentially behaving like a new pet owner. I will adopt a certain variety, add a pot, select fortified soil, purchase plant food, and so forth, just as I would for a new puppy albeit with puppies I would select food, pet beds, collars, etc.

Lovingly, I will place my newfound friend, and responsibility, at a location that seems best for growth. Everything has an aura of invitation, inclusion, and interpersonal relationship.

Deadline to register for General Election is Oct. 7

MOHAVE COUNTY – County Recorder, Lydia Durst and her team are preparing for the 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5. Here is some of the vital information needed.

All registered voters are eligible to vote in the 2024 General Election. However, to be eligible, individuals must register by Monday, October 7. To register in person, please visit the Mohave County Recorder’s Office located at 700 W. Beale St. in Kingman Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Registration to vote can also take place online at www.azmvdnow.gov.
