Morales arrests for discharging firearm

KINGMAN – No one was injured during a household gunfire incident early Sunday in Kingman. Police responded at 1:50 a.m. to a report of a man firing a weapon during a disturbance at a residence in the 900 block of Beverly Ave. Kingman Police Chief Rusty Cooper said arriving officers encountered a number of subjects who had been drinking. He said witnesses reported that Henry Morales, 57, Kingman, fired a gun out the front door of the home during a dispute. KINGMAN – Kingman Parks & Recreation is offering two sessions of Bobbing for Pumpkins on Saturday, Oct. 19. “Bobbing for Pumpkins” provides a playful and entertaining way to celebrate the autumn season. It’s especially popular among children and families. It adds a touch of fall spirit to gatherings and often results to laughter and cheers from the spectators. Just be sure to have towels nearby, as participants swim to pick out their pumpkin in the pool.
