Deray Smith arrested on assault, criminal damages charges

  KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office arrested Deray Sonson Smith, 28, of Kingman, for assault, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage, all felonies. On Friday, Jan. 18, at approximately 8:50 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Shaeffer Ave. in reference to a domestic violence situation. While responding, deputies observed a male subject, later identified as Smith, walking east on Shaeffer away from the residence and made contact. Deadlines are approaching for nursing and 12-week classes

Two deadlines are quickly approaching at Mohave Community College. You need to apply and register for classes by February 4 to participate in the college 12-week classes, also called accelerated classes. It will be a busy year ahead for highway projects in northern Arizona

US 93 widening, interstate paving among 2019 improvements. This year will be filled with highway system improvements for northern Arizona travelers, including the start of the latest Arizona Department of Transportation project expanding US 93 to four-lane divided highway between Wickenburg and Interstate 40.
