PHOENIX – Arizona Governor Ducey issued an executive order on Tuesday, March 24, delaying the enforcement of eviction action orders for renters impacted by COVID-19. The order applies to renters who are quarantining due to COVID-19 or are facing economic hardship as a result of the outbreak. MOHAVE COUNTY – The confirmation of the first positive case of COVID-19 in Mohave County has triggered the enforcement of Governor Doug Ducey’s Arizona Executive Order 2020-09 in Mohave County. Until further notice, all bars, movie and stage theaters, indoor gyms and fitness clubs in Mohave County, including all those in the incorporated cities of Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City and Kingman, must close to the public immediately. MOHAVE COUNTY – The tourism sector of the economy is quite vulnerable to the coronavirus. Spring events that draw thousands of people to the tri-state area are being postponed if not canceled due to social distancing protocols and travel restrictions. Commercial laboratory confirms MOHAVE COUNTY (March 24, 2020) – The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has confirmed the first positive case of COVID-19, in the Lake Havasu City service area.  The individual, an adult, is not hospitalized at this time and is recovering at home.
