BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Council has approved municipal intervention in the Bermuda Water company rate case pending before the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) in Phoenix. The city will seek standing in the matter scheduled for formal hearing early next year. “They have proposed a 24% increase for south Bullhead City residents and those outside the city limits,” city manager Toby Cotter said late last month. MOHAVE COUNTY – Split votes on coronavirus mask mandates netted different results in Bullhead City and Kingman Tuesday. The Bullhead City council voted 4-3 to lift the Colorado River community’s face-covering requirement Wednesday. A 2.5-hour-long town hall style debate occurred at the Kingman Council meeting. The discussion reflected the sharp divisiveness of mask policy and other COVID-19 measures and restrictions. Site Six to be closed for repairs

LAKE HAVASU CITY –The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled the closure of the Site Six launch ramp, fishing pier and surrounding area, on Thursday, September 17 from 6 a.m. until noon to perform underwater maintenance on the fishing pier. This date is subject to change due to weather or other factors. It will be necessary for residents to use alternate facilities.
