Byron Eldon Owens, of Kingman, died Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was 95. Mr. Owens was born in 1925 in Everton, Missouri. A service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Kingman, with interment following at Mountain View Cemetery. The family contact is his son Kenneth Eldon Owens. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

MOHAVE COUNTY – Ryan Esplin is being promoted to the Chief Deputy of the Civil Division of the Mohave County attorney’s office. Esplin has worked in the division for about four years. County attorney Matt Smith is promoting Esplin to succeed Bob Taylor. ADOT to replace Virgin River Bridge No. 1 along I-15 near Littlefield

Project will ensure commerce can continue through corridor  PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Transportation is set to begin work on replacing Virgin River Bridge No. 1 along Interstate 15 with a brand new bridge that will increase safety and help the corridor to continue carrying commerce for decades to come.
