No injuries in airport hangar fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 25, a fire in an aircraft hangar was reported by a bystander at the Lake Havasu City Airport. The first arriving fire company stationed at the Airport reported smoke coming from a large door on a hangar. After gaining entry, a working fire was visible in the back of the hangar which did have an aircraft inside. The hangar is in an area that has multiple hangars within close proximity. 10 years for double stabbing

KINGMAN – A man who stabbed his older friends in their Golden Valley home last fall has been sentenced to a decade in prison. Villaneuva acquitted in sex offense trial

KINGMAN – A Mohave County Superior Court jury acquitted a Bullhead City man at his sex offense trial in Kingman Wednesday. Tom Villanueva, 48, was found not guilty of two charges of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of indecent exposure. Deputy Mohave County Attorney Amanda Claerhout said the daughter of Villanueva’s former partner claimed the defendant began sexually abusing her when she was nine or ten years old.
