Aquarius, Edgewater continue Thanksgiving tradition for homeless students
LAUGHLIN / BULLHEAD CITY – Dozens of students and their families in the Bullhead City and Colorado River Union High School Districts will again have traditional Thanksgiving meals, following donations by the Aquarius and Edgewater Casino Resorts in Laughlin, Hope United Methodist Church in Bullhead City, the Bullhead City Lions Club and an anonymous benefactor. Eighty four turkey meals with trimmings from side dishes to dessert were provided by Golden Entertainment’s Aquarius/Edgewater “Feed A Family” program. Shuffler plea rejected, trial set
KINGMAN – Trial has been scheduled next spring after local attorneys informed the Court that they’ve been unable to reach an acceptable plea agreement in the adult prosecution of a Kingman teenager charged in the deaths and injuries of fellow Lee Williams High School student athletes. Defense attorney Brad Rideout rejected separate state offers to resolve the case against Brady Shuffler in a plea deal subjecting the 16-year-old to a mandatory 16-year sentence or allowing Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle to select from a 16- to 24-year prison range. Karen Lou Czymbor (Scott), 79, of Golden Valley, Arizona, passed away on November 1, 2023 after a long and hard fight with dementia on November 1st 2023. Karen was born on October 12, 1944 to Claude and Irene Scott in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating from Arthur Hill High School, Karen married Joseph R. Czymbor on September 21, 1963. They had two daughters, AnnMarie and Patricia. In 1990 Karen and Joseph moved to Kingman, AZ. Then finally built their forever home in Golden Valley, AZ.
