KINGMAN – A single-family home under construction in Kingman was destroyed by fire on Saturday, June 7. Personnel with the Kingman Fire Department responded at 5:35 a.m. to the incident at 2310 Valentine Avenue. “Engine 211 connected to the hydrant and utilized the deck gun, which swiftly controlled the flames,” said fire department public information officer Beth Matthews. “Engine 221 arrived shortly thereafter and deployed additional lines to aid in extinguishing the fire.” Matthews said no one was hurt in the incident. The fire remains under investigation.
The Kingman man who admits shooting another Kingman man in a road rage sparked dispute that ended in a shooting in the hilltop Walgreen’s parking lot is no longer in custody.
