KINGMAN – A Kingman man faces prosecution for illegal sexual behavior allegedly committed inside separate businesses in the 3100 block of Stockton Hill Road. Antonio Lucas Carrillo, 25, was arrested March 24 for sexual abuse and public sexual indecency.
KINGMAN – A Kingman woman faces a potential prison sentence for stabbing her boyfriend during an alcohol-fueled argument on March 1. Police responded shortly after midnight to the incident at an apartment complex in the 3800 block of E. Andy Devine Ave.
MOHAVE COUNTY – More than a dozen people pulled papers to possibly run for Kingman City office in the current election cycle, but only six people submitted nominating petitions by the March 23 deadline. City Clerk Annie Meredith said all four incumbents whose terms expire this year turned in their paperwork, as did two challengers.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Minutes after probation and incarceration was ordered, a Lake Havasu City teenager implored a Mohave County Superior Court judge to reverse course on the issue of jail time.
“I’m not going to be able to do a lot of stuff,” Christopher Ward, 18, complained at his March 24 sentencing hearing.
BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man who threatened family members while possessing a long knife was placed on probation at his March 23 sentencing hearing at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center in Kingman. David Delgadillo, 71, previously entered a plea agreement convicting him of aggravated assault.
BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave County Superior Court judge Lee Jantzen said he changed his mind more than once whether he would send a Bullhead City man to prison or place him on probation in his drug case. He told Chad Loftin, 42, that he was giving him an opportunity for probation, despite his legal history.
