Have you ever had a man you’re just beginning a relationship with tell you something like this: “Many in this county think I’m poison. If they know you’re seeing me, they’ll ruin you. So, let’s keep this hush, hush, on the QT, for your sake, not mine. I don’t care what they say about me, but I don’t want you to get hurt.”
RUN. Don’t walk, but RUN just as fast as you can away from that man, that relationship. I don’t care who he is, whether just a taxpaying resident, a police officer or an elected official – RUN!
Any man who will tell you something like that is juggling half the women in the county and don’t want you to say you’re seeing him, because if you do, word may get back to some of the other women and they won’t see him anymore. Darn! One less woman for him to juggle. Run!
A man like that deserves to live alone and die alone, but women, you deserve better. Don’t get hustled or suckered in by a lying, cheater, like that, even if he tells you he has Stage 4 Cancer to appeal to your sympathy.
Men like that love to sucker an older woman to move in and live with him because he has someone to clean his house, cook his meals, do his laundry, and, by and large, older women are more trusting. He can pretend to be going to a meeting while in fact, he’s out with one of the many who stroke his ego. If you’re not enough to stroke his ego, you don’t need him. Run! Run! Run!
Wise up, women of Mohave County and beyond! Drop the scumbag before you get hurt more than you already have been. And, yes. You’ve already been hurt, whether you realize it yet it not. Run! For your own sakes, Run!
