Art Guild hosts Holiday Shoppe

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Havasu Art Guild will be spreading their artistic holiday cheer once more this weekend at their annual Holiday Shoppe event.  Formed in 1978, the art guild’s mission is to encourage the community and individuals to develop an interest in the creative arts and crafts.

The nonprofit continuously supports the endeavors of local artists by showcasing their work at community events. The organization maintains that you don’t have to be an artist to join the club, as they welcome everyone wanting to explore their creative side.

Forms to join in on the fun as a member can be accessed by visiting  Havasu Art Guild – Forms. The Havasu Art Guild monthly meetings take place on the third Monday of each month from September through May beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. It’s a great opportunity for new and current members to learn about new crafty skills. Sign up for upcoming events, meet other artists and make friends.

Just in time for the holiday season, the festive shopping event is the perfect way to find unique gift ideas. Shoppers will be able to browse through paintings, wood crafts, jewelry, and much more created by our local artists.

This year’s two-day Havasu Art Guild Holiday Shoppe will be taking place on Saturday, November 30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Aquatic Center.

All proceeds will go towards the Havasu Art Guild’s scholarship programs. Kick off your holiday season and find those special presents you need to make this year’s holiday full of warm memories.
