Arizona State Parks & Trails offers free entrance to Veterans on Veterans Day

PHOENIX – Veterans, active duty military, and National Guard members are invited to enjoy a fee-free day at any Arizona state park this Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2023. Arizona State Parks and Trails is proud to honor veterans’ service to our country with this offer for admission-waived day use of its more than 30 parks throughout the state.

“This is our way of showing our appreciation and an opportunity for veterans and service members to take a break from their daily routine and explore the beauty and history of Arizona,” said Arizona State Parks and Trails Executive Director Bob Broscheid. “Whether you want to hike, fish, stroll through historic exhibits, or enjoy a picnic with your family, our state parks offer amazing experiences. It’s our pleasure to welcome our country’s brave to these beautiful destinations to adventure, relax, and enjoy.”

Arizona State Parks and Trails is committed to providing accessible outdoor recreation opportunities to all visitors, including those who have served our country.
