Apex to host grand opening, donates to Kingman schools

KINGMAN – Apex Manufactured Home Sales, a leader in the sale of prefabricated homes, today announced that they will be holding a very special Grand Opening event in Kingman, AZ on January 25.

Earlier this year, Apex learned that while Kingman is experiencing rapid business development growth, certain areas of the town’s infrastructure are struggling to keep pace with the influx of new members joining the community. Affordable housing and rentals is needed.  The one area having perhaps the greatest difficulty with the influx of new residence are the schools. As with many schools across the country, having available funds to meet of needs of students is nearly impossible. In most cases, teachers are forced to personally come out of pocket to provide their students with basic classroom supplies. Upon hearing about the difficulty Kingman schools were facing, Apex decided that before they opened their doors, they would have to do something to help Kingman schools to thrive.

Alex Totah, CEO of Apex said “when we chose to bring our sales force to Kingman, we did so because we feel the community has tremendous growth potential. Affordable housing is in extremely high demand and we want to offer our superior products to the marketplace. However, we also want to be considered a welcome and valued addition to the community, so we want to do more. In addition to offering employment opportunities, we would like to start off by giving back.”

During their Grand Opening event, Apex will present Cerbat Elementary, the first of many schools it hopes to help, with a donation of school supplies totaling more than $2,200.00. Apex partnered with The Crazy Horse Campgrounds of Lake Havasu and Kingman Ranch Mobile Park to raise the funds. Their goal is to encourage businesses to donate to the Kingman area schools so that students will have the tools they need to flourish.

Tami Ursenbach, Director of Economic Development and Tourism for Mohave County said, “we are so grateful to Apex and the manufactured home communities who have taken our school’s needs into consideration. We value new businesses that want to contribute to our community as a whole.”

Apex Manufactured Home Sales Grand Opening, “Ribbon Cutting” by the Kingman Chamber of Commerce and donation of school supplies to Cerbat Elementary School will be held 2124 Northern Ave, on Saturday, January 25, at 11 a.m.  The public is invited to attend.
