Animal shelter is moving, and needs to clear the shelter

MOHAVE COUNTY  – Mohave County Animal Shelter will be holding a Clear the Shelter Adoption Event on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Have you heard that they are moving into their brand new facility soon? They need to have many animals adopted beforehand to make the move easier on all involved.

There will be adoption subsidies – adult dogs over 40 pounds are $25; adult cats are $50; puppies five to eight months are $50. Some will be sponsored so may go home for no fees to qualified adopters.

The shelter continues to have a huge intake of surrendered; abandoned and unclaimed strays, so are overflowing with beautiful pups; dogs; and cats. They need community support of help find loving fur-ever homes for these animals.

Upon adoption each animal will be spayed or neutered; microchipped and current on vaccines. All come with a free wellness check with a local veterinarian and a coupon book from PetSmart with huge savings on everything you will need for your new addition.

Please bring your family and dogs for a meet and greet to welcome your new best friend.

The shelter staff will be at PetSmart in Bullhead City, 3699 Hwy. 95 on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
