Animal control looking for dog

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a recent dog bite.

A 23-year-old male reported that on Thursday, August 8 at about 8:30 p.m., a stray dog bit him on his leg as he was riding his bicycle in the 1100 block of Hancock Road. The dog then ran away in an unknown direction.

The dog is described as a silver and/or blue & white Pitbull mix.

ACW officers searched the area, but have not found the dog. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 19-05074.
