Andy Devine Avenue milling and paving to begin May 13

Milling and paving of Andy Devine Avenue from Stockton Hill Road to Michael Street (before the I-40 Interchange), will begin Monday, May 13 through Thursday, June 6. All businesses will remain open throughout the project, and crews will maintain business access with proper signage to direct the motoring public in and out of businesses safely.

The week of May 13 the two northbound lanes will be closed starting May 13 where crews will mill the existing surface and pave the two lanes back. Northbound traffic will be moved to the center lane during this time. Once that work is complete, and temporary road markings are installed, it will be re-opened, and the two southbound will be closed starting the week of May 20. The southbound traffic will be moved to the center lane during this time. When crews complete their work, and temporary road markings are installed, the southbound lanes will reopen and the center lane will be closed for several days for milling and paving. New striping will be installed May 28 and 29.
