ALLO receives 2025 Gold Hire Vets Medallion Award from U.S. Department of Labor

MOHAVE COUNTY – ALLO has earned the 2025 Gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor, recognizing the company’s continued commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining military veterans. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers for their dedication to veteran employment practices.

“Earning this recognition reinforces what we see every day at ALLO,” said Todd Heyne, ALLO ChiefmConstruction Officer and U.S. Navy veteran. “Veterans know how to lead, adapt, and deliver results under pressure. Those skills translate directly into how we build teams, serve our customers, and execute complex projects.

ALLO is one of only six companies in Nebraska and one of 886 companies across the U.S. awarded this honor. This marks the sixth consecutive year ALLO has earned a HIRE Vets Medallion. This award is presented to employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to employing, retaining, and supporting veterans through intentional workplace policies and programs. Recipients of the 2025 HIRE Vets Medallion Award meet rigorous program criteria including percentage of new hires who are veterans, overall veteran employee percentage, and veteran integration and support programs. These initiatives include veteran-specific resources, leadership development opportunities, dedicated human resource support, pay compensation, and tuition assistance programs for veterans.

ALLO offers a range of benefit programs to support veterans transitioning to the civilian workforce as well as active Guard and Reserve members. These benefits include a Military Leave Benefit utilized by multiple ALLO teammates. ALLO also participates in the SkillBridge internship program for active-duty service members who are nearing the end of their service, with a pay differential benefit where ALLO will pay a deployed team member the difference between their ALLO salary and military pay to ensure the same income during their deployment.
