Alleged burglar arrested near victim’s home

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office(MCSO) deputies arrested Dimitri Jacob Wise, 18, of Kingman, for first degree criminal trespassing, third degree burglary, theft of means of transportation, all felonies; misdemeanor criminal damage, and an active arrest warrant. On November 24 at about 11:45 a.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Devlin Ave. in reference to an attempted burglary.

The homeowner showed deputies video footage of a man entering the property and attempting to steal a quad from inside his fenced property. During contact with the homeowner, a Wise was observed down the street matching the suspect’s clothing description, and he was detained. According to an MCSO press release, when showed a photo from the surveillance cameras, Wise confirmed it was him in the images.
