Airway Avenue road closure on Friday

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is advising residents and motorists of a temporary road closure scheduled along Airway Avenue on Friday, March 20, to allow crews to perform aerial utility work on overhead lines crossing the roadway.

The closure will occur just east of the Maverick Gas Station near Historic Route 66 between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. During this time, traffic along Airway Avenue will be subject to intermittent closures as crews complete work across the roadway.  For public safety, law enforcement personnel will be on site to assist with traffic control and ensure safe, temporary stoppages of traffic as needed.

Motorists are encouraged to plan for minor delays and use alternate routes if possible during the scheduled work hours.
